The men of the Beta Chi Chapter invite all Pi Kappa Alpha alumni living in and around the Twin Cities to become engaged in the active chapter.  Through a variety of programming, we have created opportunities for you to become involved.  If you are interested in participating in any one of the following programs, please contact our Alumni Relations Chair, Cameron Burgard, at burga020@umn.edu.

Alumni Speaker Series

The Alumni Speaker Series serves to educate and inspire the active chapter.  Alumni attend Monday Night Dinner and speak to the chapter on a topic of their choice.  Most often, speakers present the secrets to their professional success, share stories about their pasts, and retell the days of when they were an undergraduate fraternity man.  Topics have ranged from entrepreneurship, advancing one’s career in the corporate world, life in the medical profession, and what it’s like serving in the FBI working in counter-terrorism, among others.

Alumni Mentorship Program

The first thing that comes to mind when people think of college is “jobs.”  While the ultimate goal of many is to be employed after graduation, Beta Chi’s Alumni Mentorship Program will focus on the journey towards employment rather than the end result.  Active members will be given the opportunity to network extensively while building lasting relationships with alumni who are in their field of interest.  Additionally, the program is designed to create an atmosphere that truly promotes friendship on a firmer and more lasting basis and that fosters a lifelong fraternal experience.  The Alumni Mentorship Program will change what it means to be a brother and provide both a memorable and meaningful experience for both the mentor and the mentee.

Monday Night Dinner

Each Monday night during the school year at 5:30 PM the brotherhood meets before chapter meeting for dinner.  All alumni are invited to join and dinner is on us.
